PP-GF30-0501P10/13-XH
Forever
PP-GF30-0501P10/13-XH is reinforced with long glass fibers to improve its strength and impact resistance. The fibers are chemically bonded to the polypropylene, and the pellets used for injection molding are cylindrical in shape with 10 mm long embedded fibers. This type of PP, known as CELSTRAN, produces molded parts with exceptional mechanical properties, including high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. The presence of the fiber skeleton enhances the notched impact strength at both high and low temperatures and reduces creep. The molded parts also experience minimal warpage due to their isotropic shrinkage. Using injection molding, complex parts can be produced consistently. This material is commonly used for automotive functional and structural parts.
